Top 10 plays from Russell Wilson's career

They say all good things come to an end, and such is the case for former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. After 14 seasons in the NFL, Wilson officially called it quits and will be headed to the CBS Sports desk as a pregame analyst. Although the end was reached for Seahawks fans years ago when he infamously asked to be traded away, time heals all wounds and no ending can erase how special a player he was in Seattle.

This is exactly why we at Seahawks Wire wanted to take another trip down memory lane when it comes to the greatest quarterback in Seahawks franchise history. Good Morning Football was kind enough to put together a montage of Wilson's Top 10 plays from his career, and we are absolutely going to share it. I will give two spoilers: first off, there will be one Broncos highlight, so prepare yourself.

Secondly, the top spot belongs to his walk-off touchdown strike to Jermaine Kearse in the 2014 NFC Championship game against the Green Bay Packers. Despite throwing four interceptions and looking utterly lost for most of the game, Wilson came through in the end as he most often did. I think this play perfectly exemplifies the "neutral" mentality he embodied so perfectly. Wilson never let the lows keep him too low, or allow the highs to make him too high. It kept him right where he needed to be in order to succeed as an NFL quarterback.
