All roads lead back to Mr. Wonderful on *Shark Tank ... *even when Timothée Chalamet finally won his first Golden Globe award.
The *Marty Supreme* star took home the award on Sunday for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, and he made sure to thank "Mr. Wonderful from *Shark Tank*" in his acceptance speech.
"If you would have told me when I was 19 years old, I'd be thanking Mr. Wonderful from *Shark Tank*?" Chalamet said as the audience laughed. "All right, you're laughing, so I got away with that. Thank you, Kevin — I would have been stunned, but I've been very grateful."

Chalamet was talking directly to his *Marty Supreme* costar Kevin O'Leary, who plays rich "a--hole" Milton Rockwell in the A24 ping-pong film.
In real life, O'Leary is the provocative multimillionaire venture capitalist best known as the nickname "Mr. Wonderful" on *Shark Tank, *offering* *brutally honest (to a fault) feedback to would-be entrepreneurs pitching their products to a panel of investors.
Chalamet, 30, beat fellow nominees George Clooney for *Jay Kelly, *Leonardo DiCaprio for *One Battle After Another, *Ethan Hawke for *Blue Moon, *Lee Byung-Hun for *No Other Choice, *and Jesse Plemons for *Bugonia. *

The young actor also thanked his "partner" Kylie Jenner, telling her, "I love you" in his speech — without actually saying her name.
"For my parents, for my partner: I love you," he said as the camera cut to Jenner in the audience. "Thank you so much."
Chalamet also got real in his acceptance speech about losing four times at the Golden Globes in previous years.

"My dad instilled in me a spirit of gratitude growing up," Chalamet said. "'Always be grateful for what you have.' It's allowed me to leave this ceremony in the past empty-handed, my head held high, grateful just to be here. I'd be lying if I didn't say those moments didn't make this moment that much sweeter."
Chalamet was previously nominated at the Golden Globes in 2025 for *A Complete Unknown*, in 2024 for *Wonka*, in 2019 for *Beautiful Boy*, and in 2018 for *Call Me By Your Name.*
