Past footage resurfaced of an interaction between the Beckhams at a London red carpet amid a family rift
Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, David and Victoria’s oldest child, shared a lengthy post on social media Monday, Jan. 19, on why he does “not want to reconcile with my family”
The 26-year-old claimed his parents have considered his wife as "not family”
A video seemingly depicting an uncomfortable 2023 red carpet interaction between Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, with his mother Victoria Beckham, has resurfaced amid current family drama.
Just one day after David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest child shared several messages to his Instagram Stories detailing a years-long rift in their relationship, footage from the October 2023 London premiere of David's Netflix documentary, Beckham, appeared on social media.
In the video, David, 50, stands on one end of the red carpet, as his wife, Victoria, 51, stands next to him.
Their son, Brooklyn, 26, is beside his mother, as his wife Nicola, 31, is on the end. The group of four poses as cameras flash before them. Their other children pose with them; however, they are not in the video's frame.
In the footage, Victoria steps out diagonally opposite of Brooklyn, her back slightly turned toward him. Nicola continues posing, and at one point, Brooklyn pulls her in closer to him.
Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot in April 2022.
On Monday, Jan. 19, the Cloud 23 CEO shared six slides across his Instagram Stories, writing in detail his account of ongoing issues with his parents that date back to his wedding to the Lola actress.
"I have been silent for years and have made every attempt to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed," he began in his lengthy posts, adding, “I do not want to reconcile with my family.”
In May 2025, a source exclusively told PEOPLE Victoria left Nicola “in tears” after “ruining” the model’s first dance with her husband at their wedding.
His post on Monday claimed "my mum was waiting to dance with me ... She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."

He also said his family told him Nicola was "not blood" and "not family."
Following the pro athlete’s 50th birthday celebrations in 2025, a source told PEOPLE that Brooklyn and Nicola were invited and that it was unclear why they weren't present.

"The relationship is definitely not beyond repair," the insider told PEOPLE at the time. "They love and are always there for [Brooklyn]. They’re just hurt and disappointed that he’s now playing no part in family life."
“David and Victoria have repeatedly asked Brooklyn and Nicola to meet and talk in order to move forward," an insider told PEOPLE earlier in January. "David loves his kids. They are his everything."
