A fan purchased a $1,000 Cameo from Ric Flair for her brother's wedding

But when it was received, she said, Flair's video was "the worst thing [her brother has] ever been gifted"

In the video, which recently has gone viral on social media, the WWE star urged the groom not to get married, asking, "Why would you get married?”

Ric Flair doesn’t advise his fans to marry, despite his five weddings.

A video of the WWE legend, 76, is going viral after a Cameo he sent to a fan, Eric, ahead of his wedding day has resurfaced on social media. The Cameo requester, Eric's sister, Tina, explained that she purchased a $1,000 video from Flair, but when she received it, she said it was "the worst thing he's ever been gifted."

In the April video, as seen in an X post shared on Dec. 23, Flair (real name Richard Fliehr) was in a bar telling the groom that “Tina, family and the military boys” were sending him the video as a gift. “I guess this is a beautiful gift, I’m not sure why,” he began, before adding, while he seemingly read the request, “Oh bachelor gift? Gotcha, man.”

As he continued to read the request, he called out that Eric has a tattoo of the wrestler, and Flair added, “So many women do.”

But as Flair kept recording, he slurred his words and said, “Don’t do it.” He added, “No, he’s getting married. Oh my god. Why would you get married, motherf-----?”

“It’s the worst possible commitment you could do, because after the day you get married, 50% of everything is hers. I don’t care how beautiful she is,” he continued, suggesting that the future husband just “stay her girlfriend.”

Flair was previously married to Leslie Goodman in 1971; they divorced in 1983. That same year, he married Elizabeth Harrell and they divorced in 2006. He then married Tiffany VanDemark in 2006, and they divorced three years later.

Also in 2009, he married Jackie Beems before their divorce in 2014. He was also in a long-term relationship with Wendy Barlow from 2011 to 2024. They previously told PEOPLE that they were never legally married, despite holding a wedding ceremony in Florida in September 2018.

Flair then seemingly returned to reading the request and said, the Cameo requesters wanted to wish Eric the “best of luck.” He concluded saying, “Diamonds are forever and so is Ric Flair, and that’s the God’s honest truth. I’m a diamond. I’m forever. I’ve overstayed my welcome and my name is Ric Flair.”

The disappointed customer then wrote a scathing review, calling the video “unbelievable.” They wrote, “After spending nearly a GRAND to have someone my brother admired enough to have tattooed on him, wish him luck on his wedding.”

“I would have expected Ric to at least browse through the notes ahead of time not read it word for word the first time and MOST definitely NOT tell him he's making a mistake and to remain a ‘gf’ because he was so f----- up he could barely speak right,” they continued, concluding, “What would've be a great gift ended up being ‘the worst thing he's ever been gifted.’ "
