Randy Orton once took a WWE prank too far. The joke quickly turned into complete chaos outside RAW. Former WWE star Mark Jindrak recently shared the unbelievable story. He said real police officers thought the fight was real.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Mark Jindrak explained how the prank began. He, Randy Orton, and Maven wanted to fool wrestling news sites.

Former WWE star Mark Jindrak recalls Randy Orton’s prank nearly ending badly

“Randy and I were fascinated that these dirt sheets or internet sites had rumors or foreshadowing or predictions. We just liked that stuff. We’d see the stories pop up, and we wanted to be part of that.”

Before leaving the arena, Jindrak even asked one police officer to help with the stunt. He recalled, “If Randy and I start a fight, okay, a fake fight, will you jump in and break it up for us… They’ll be in awe, and somebody, at least one person, would tell one of these internet sites or report what had just happened.”

Jindrak said, “The police officer was actually really, really excited to be part of this fake fight that we set up. And I thought it was going to be a pretty easy prank.” However, once the fake fight started, Orton made everything feel completely real.

Jindrak recalled, “He punched me so hard. It was literally… I felt he hit me about 85, 90%. And I returned the favor, and I stiffed him back. We were stiffing each other back and forth.” The planned officer stepped in to separate them.

However, nobody warned the other officers outside. He explained, “What we didn’t plan on was the other six or seven officers outside. They didn’t know. They weren’t in the know. They didn’t know this was a fake fight.”

Things got even worse when Orton shoved the officer away. Jindrak said, “All I saw is this cop lost his balance, hit the ground. Now, the other six or seven cops out there… they think it’s real.” Soon, complete chaos broke out around the arena.

Fans scattered while police rushed toward Orton. Jindrak recalled, “The fans are out of control… We’re still fighting… These six or seven cops are fighting him… So now there’s mayhem everywhere.”

Police eventually managed to restore order and stopped the fight, and nobody got arrested. Jindrak said, “Nobody got hurt, and nobody was arrested… over the next few days, various news sites, dirt sheets, and rumor mills covered it, and we loved it. We had pulled it off.”
