Chase McWhorter isn't opposed to rekindling things with his ex-wife, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Miranda Hope

On the April 7 episode of Harry Jowsey's Boyfriend Material podcast, McWhorter opened up about all things related to filming on season 5 of Mormon Wives, as well as how his relationship with Hope has progressed since their 2024 divorce

McWhorter also teased whether he would get back together with Hope, in response to one of Jowsey's questions

Chase McWhorter is still pining after his ex.While appearing on the April 7 episode of Harry Jowsey's Boyfriend Material podcast, McWhorter, who was married to Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Miranda Hope from 2017 to 2024, opened up about where things stand with his ex-wife.During the sit-down, in which McWhorter touched on all things Mormon Wives including the status for filming on the show's fifth season, which he said was "up in the air."Jowsey also made a point to ask about where he stands in his relationship with Hope, after reports emerged that McWhorter and another Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper were spotted kissing at a party. In a post to her Instagram Stories on March 26, Hope addressed the rumors by posting a note Draper sent apologizing.

McWhorter, for his part, had nothing but praise to sing for his ex-wife, with whom he shares two children: 6-year-old son Brooks and 4-year-old daughter Cohen, calling her one of the best co-parents.Asked if he would ever consider getting back together with Hope, McWhorter answered: "I'm always yearning for that, but I think that she's too smart."Touching on the pair's young age when they got together, McWhorter added that Hope was "much too developed emotionally now to ever fall for that again."

However, he did throw in a quick, "I'm going to keep trying," before concluding his answer.McWhorter also addressed his kiss with Draper, saying that she and Hope were in a tough spot, before promising to avoid her friends going forward in the future.

After Jowsey told Chase to "stop kissing everyone," Chase apologized for his behavior.

Chase added, "I'm really sorry. I'm upset about it."Chase has been linked to other members of MomTok in the past, briefly dating Layla Taylor before she and Miranda became close friends. He also had a brief fling with Taylor Frankie Paul amid the soft swinging scandal. Miranda's feelings about that betrayal were shown on the show's latest season, when Chase and Taylor meet up for a "date" that leaves Miranda feeling triggered.

Following the season 4 premiere, fans speculated that Miranda and Chase rekindled their relationship, though she denied the rumors.

"Come on now, you guys," Miranda said on The Southern Tea podcast. "You really think that little of me?"
