- Morgan Wallen addressed the drama surrounding his June 1 piano-flipping incident.

- The country singer went viral over the weekend for flipping a piano in frustration after experiencing technical difficulties in the middle of his Denver concert.

- In a video posted Monday, Wallen brushed off the backlash to the incident with a sarcastic quip.

Morgan Wallen thought you ought to know how he really feels about his viral piano-flipping incident.

Over the weekend, Wallen turned a few heads after blowing off some steam on stage by flipping over a malfunctioning piano. The "Whiskey Glasses" singer was performing at Denver's Empower Field at Mile High on Friday when technical difficulties forced him to abandon his piano playing and finish a song a cappella. Wallen then shocked the crowd by turning around and pushing the piano over in apparent frustration.

Days later, Wallen offered a cheeky update on his piano problems.

In a video shared to TikTok on Monday, Wallen walks toward the camera and says, "Hey, I just want you guys to know that right now, this piano *is* working."

The camera then tilts down to show a piano, before returning to Wallen's face. "And that's what they told me last night," he says.

"Can’t you tell I’m so distraught over my piano," he wrote in the post's caption.

The incident took place last Friday while Morgan was nearing the end of his 2021 ballad, "Sand in My Boots." Fans filmed the moment, from multiple angles, as Wallen stood from the piano to prompt his fans into a sing-a-long. Once the ballad ended, he abruptly turned around to shove, roll, and eventually flip the piano, which crashed on stage and broke apart. His frustrations appeared to stem from an inability to hear the piano as he played.

At the time, the crowd cheered Wallen on, but in the aftermath, some social media users criticized the musician for behaving unprofessionally.

Wallen's two-day engagement at the stadium saw him return the next day, and during the show, he playfully acknowledged the previous night's incident. "Let's see if this piano works tonight," he joked, while taking a seat at the piano.

Wallen's war with inanimate objects dates back a couple years. In April 2024, the singer was arrested and charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct for drunkenly throwing a chair off of the rooftop of the six-story Chief's on Broadway bar in Nashville. After pleading "conditionally guilty" to the charges, Wallen was sentenced to two years probation and seven days at a DUI education center, and was ordered to pay a $350 fine and court fees.

Wallen is presently nearing the end of his Still the Problem Tour, an extension of his sold-out 2025 stadium trek, the I'm the Problem Tour. His stadium shows are set to conclude in Philadelphia on Aug. 1.
