At the Beijing red carpet meet-and-greet for “The Odyssey,” Charlize Theron turned heads in a see-through Givenchy lace dress with a plunging neckline. On July 30, the “Mad Max: Fury Road” star arrived at Universal CityWalk in the stunning black dress that perfectly blended structural volume with delicate lace.

For the Beijing photocall for “The Odyssey,” Charlie Theron opted for Look 56 from Givenchy’s Fall/Winter 206 Ready-to-Wear Collection. Crafted from sheer black floral lace, the halter dress featured a plunging neckline.

Heavily embroidered, scalloped silver borders traced the neckline, cinched waist, and central vertical seam, framing the torso with architectural precision.

Below the waist, the dress transformed into a sculpted high-low skirt. Pronounced hip panniers cascaded down into dramatic, scalloped-edge drapes, leaving two front slit that offered glimpses of her toned legs.

The see-through lace added a romantic but bold touch to the look. The low-dipping neckline and the skirt’s slits added an extra layer of boldness to the dress.

Theron paired the dress with minimal black ankle-strap sandals, which peeked through the slits in the skirt. Styled by Leslie Fremar, she opted for metallic jewelry to echo the silver lace adorning the gown. She was wearing the Tiffany & Co.

Elsa Perreti Bone Cuffs, as well as the Split Ring from the same collection. On her ears, she sported Tiffany & Co. Hardwear Large Link Earrings. The drop earrings framed her face without competing against the dress’s heavy trim.

Theron’s styling balances modern edge with polished elegance. She wore her hair in a slicked-back updo, featuring micro baby bangs clipped across her forehead.

Meanwhile, her makeup was refined and luminous, featuring smoky eyes, neatly sculpted brows, a warm blush, and a satin rose-nude lip. She posted photos of the look with the caption, “Bangs came to play. So did [Givenchy]” in a smart nod to her whole look.
