Last year, Great American Family debuted Home Sweet Christmas, a charming holiday film starring Candace Cameron Bure and Cameron Mathison as two childhood friends who reconnect as adults and find love again. The film was a hit with viewers, so naturally, a follow-up was put in the works. The result was Another Sweet Christmas, which had its exclusive premiere in theatres nationwide. The three-day limited engagement also had bonuses for fans who headed to the theatre to enjoy the film. Now, the film will finally have its broadcast premiere on Great American Family. In this follow-up to last year's Home Sweet Christmas, Sophie (Bure) and Sam’s (Mathison) picture-perfect love story is transformed into a Christmas movie and their hometown of Waynesbridge, Washington, becomes a dazzling holiday film set. But as the spotlight grows brighter real-life challenges soon follow. As they navigate the pressures of expectation, will Sophie and Sam’s real-life wedding have to be re-written? Only they can answer the question every great love story faces: what lasts when the cameras stop rolling?

Candace Cameron Bure has starred in multiple holiday movies, both for Hallmark Channel and her new home at Great American Family. Since signing an overall deal with GAF, Bure has taken on the role of Chief Creative Officer for the network, helping to curate content for the upstart channel. She has previously starred in A Christmas Hero, A Christmas Less Traveled, and A Christmas for the Ages for GAF, the latter also starring her daughter Natasha Bure. She'll star in the upcoming Timeless Tidings of Joy with Natasha and Paul Greene.

Cameron Mathison (Sam Stackhouse)

Mathison previously was a co-host on the Hallmark Channel morning show, Home & Family. He also starred in At Home in Mitford opposite Andie MacDowell and the Hannah Swensen Mystery series of movies on Hallmark Mystery. He has starred in A Kindhearted Christmas, A Merry Christmas Wish, and Home Sweet Christmas for Great American Family.

Where can I see Another Sweet Christmas?

Another Sweet Christmas will have its broadcast premiere on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 8 p.m. ET on Great American Family and will be available to stream beginning on Thursday, Dec. 18 on Great American Pure Flix.

Will there be another movie in the Sweet Christmas series?

Yes! A third movie, A Sweet Christmas Anniversary, is in the works and filming is currently underway in Europe. The film will a theatrical release for a limited engagement just as Another Sweet Christmas did with a likely broadcast premiere on Great American Family later in the season.
