In November, a newly unsealed email from the Wayfarer team claimed Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman witnessed Ryan Reynolds confronting Justin Baldoni
Blake Lively disputed the allegation in her deposition, which was unsealed on Jan. 20
Lively testified that "no one but Baldoni, myself, and Reynolds was anywhere in our office during the discussion about Baldoni's inappropriate inquiries into my weight"
Blake Lively is disputing a claim that Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman were present when her husband Ryan Reynolds confronted Justin Baldoni over Blake Lively's fat-shaming concerns.
In Lively's deposition released on Tuesday, Jan. 20, the actress, 38, testified that only Ryan Reynolds was present when she raised her concerns to Baldoni, who had "come to my office to work on script revisions."
Lively testified that her personal trainer and longtime friend, Don Saladino, informed her that Baldoni, 41, asked "behind my back" how much Lively would weigh around the time filming was scheduled to begin.
At the April 25, 2023 meeting at her home, "I raised his conversation with Saladino about my weight and conveyed that it was upsetting to me and that it felt invasive and inappropriate," Lively testified, adding that Reynolds "briefly walked over and joined our discussion."
Lively went on to testify that Jackman "stopped by" to pick up Reynolds for lunch. "He shook Baldoni's hand at the door, they exchanged niceties, and Jackman left with Reynolds," she added. "No one but Baldoni, myself, and Reynolds was anywhere in our office during the discussion about Baldoni's inappropriate inquiries into my weight."
Back in November, an exhibit in the ongoing legal battle between Baldoni and Lively was unsealed and included a timeline of events sent from Wayfarer Studios co-founder Jamey Heath's team to Baldoni's publicist over email in July 2024.

The recap listed that the couple's famous pals Swift and Jackman were "also present in the apt at the time" of the meeting.
Lively sued her costar-director Baldoni and others in December 2024, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation, which he denies. Their trial is set for March 2026.
Swift is not a party to the lawsuit, but her name has surfaced repeatedly amid Baldoni’s claims that Lively leaned on outside influence during disputes over the film’s production. Swift is also listed as a potential witness on a list submitted by Lively’s legal team, and Baldoni’s legal team attempted to subpoena Swift in May.
Swift’s rep pushed back following the May 2025 subpeona from Baldoni's team, saying in a statement: “Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history.”
“The connection Taylor had to this film was permitting the use of one song, ‘My Tears Ricochet,’” the rep added, accusing Baldoni’s side of using Swift’s name “to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case."
